Account Information

Why can’t I log into my account?

Normally, there are 3 reasons why you are unable to log into your account.

  • Your password is incorrect/You forgot your password.
  • Your email is incorrect.
  • You did not register for an account on our website.

Click “Forgot your password” on the log in page if your password is not recognized.

Check your spam/ trash folders if you do not receive an email to reset your password.

What is Silk Rewards Centre?

Silk Rewards Centre is our in-house membership rewards program that helps you earn and collect rewards in the form of Silk Points.  Your points can be used to redeem coupons that can be used for later purchases. 

How can I get Silk Points?

You will be awarded 10 Silk Points for every dollar spent at TheSilkSpace.com

For example, when you spend $100 with us, you will get 1000 Silk Points. 

How can I use my Silk Points?

Your Silk Points can be used to redeem coupons for your future purchase. There is an option on the checkout page that allows you to enter your coupon code to apply a discount.

The exchange rate for coupons is as follows:

  • 1000 Silk Points = 10 Dollars
  • 3000 Silk Points = 30 Dollars
  • 5000 Silk Points = 50 Dollars
  • 10000 Silk Points = 100 Dollars
  • 20000 Silk Points = 200 Dollars
  • 30000 Silk Points = 300 Dollars
  • 50000 Silk Points = 500 Dollars

*NOTE: You can only use the coupons on orders over $100. 

How do I check my points balance?

Click on Silk Rewards Centre option on the menu bar or the "S" icon at the bottom right of the webpage to enter our membership and rewards program. Your points balance would be shown on top of the pop-up. 

Will my points be refunded if I return an item?

Your points would be refunded if you return your ENTIRE order.

Am I able to apply multiple discount codes?

You can only use ONE coupon code per order.

*NOTE: Your points are valid for one whole calendar year from the date of earning them. For example, when you earned 100 points on January 8, 2023, your points will expire on January 7, 2024. Your points would be automatically deleted upon the expiration date.

What is Mulberry Silk?

Mulberry silk is the highest-grade silkworm-produced silk there is. It is produced by Silkworms after eating leaves from a Mulberry Tree. Because of extraordinary nutrients from the Mulberry tree, the silk that is produced is much more lustrous and smoother. Our products is exclusively made from the finest grade Mulberry Silk (graded 6A long-stranded).

Why not use Thread Count?

Silk Thread is extremely fine so it is insufficient to only measure its thread count. Two pieces of silk fabric can have the same thread count but not the same momme (density). Beware of duplicitous sellers.

What is Charmeuse Weave?

Charmeuse Weave is a particular type of weaving that showcases the shine and luster on the outer surface in exchange for a dull inner surface. It does not affect the luxurious smoothness of silk.

How to get Wrinkles out of Silk?

Silk is a fabric that is made up of natural silk fibres from the cocoon of a silkworm. With luxurious but delicate fibres, it will develop wrinkles when not stored properly. With proper care, you’ll get those wrinkles out in no time.

The best way to get wrinkles out of silk is to use a steamer gun. Select “Silk Mode” or low steam mode because you don’t want to damage the fabric with high heat. Pull tightly on the neckline and cuffs and steam them to remove stubborn creases. DO NOT touch the silk with the steamer head as it may damage the fabric.

Where do you ship to?

We offer worldwide shipping to various countries using Canada Post, FedEx, and DHL, depending on the destination.

*NOTE: We cannot deliver to PO Boxes and Military Addresses (APO, FPO).

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Our processing time is 1-2 days. Shipping times vary: Canada (2-5 business days), USA (7-14 business days), and other countries (7-21 business days). Pre-orders and backorders take up to 3 weeks to ship.

We will always do our best to ship items as quickly as possible and you will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is sent out. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or on national holidays. You can find more Shipping Information here.

How much does shipping cost?

Enjoy free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
For orders less than $50, there is a $10 shipping fee.

How to request for return?

  1. Please send all refund/exchange enquiries to support@thesilkspace.com.
  2. We will email you an RMA form to fill up. Please adhere to the form for us to determine your eligibility for a return/exchange.
  3. After you have submitted the RMA form, please kindly wait for our approval.
  4. Once approved, we will send you an RMA packing slip. Please print it out and enclose it inside the return package.
  5. Please arrange your return package with your local post office and we will process your return(s) as soon as we have received the package.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club, and Interac.

We do also accept PayPal, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Kakao Pay and Klarna and we have express checkout services from Paypal, ShopPay, and Google Pay.

When will the payment be charged?

Once authorized, the payment would be charged immediately. An email will be sent to you to confirm your order. If your card is not authorized or is pre-authorized, the payment will not be able to go through. Please contact your bank or card issuer to authorize the payment. 

Why is my payment declined?

If you encounter difficulties paying via credit card, please check the details of your credit card information to make sure you have entered them correctly. Details include card number, expiration date, cardholder name, security code, and your billing address.

What currencies do you accept as payment?

At the moment, we accept Canadian dollars as a direct payment. However, you can pay via credit card as long as it is under our accepted method of card payment (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, Diners Club, and Interac) and the currency would automatically be converted to your preferred type by your bank of issuance.  

 

Why doesn’t my promo code work?

The coupon will not work if it is expired.
